1 Pet profile and disclosure
The owner must disclose species, breed, age, identification, vaccination information where relevant, behaviour, bite or escape history, triggers, mobility, feeding, medication and veterinary contacts. StudeeHelpers may decline animals or tasks outside approved risk limits.
2 Scope and controls
The booking specifies walking, feeding, home visit or overnight care, duration, permitted routes, leash rules, access, number of pets and excluded tasks. No off-leash activity, transport, medication, grooming, breeding-related service or contact with unfamiliar animals is permitted unless expressly approved.
3 Veterinary emergency
If the owner cannot be reached and a helper reasonably believes urgent veterinary attention is required, the owner authorises contact with the listed veterinarian or nearest suitable emergency provider and transport only if permitted and reasonably safe. Set spending authority: R[AMOUNT], unless delay threatens life or serious suffering. Costs remain the owner's responsibility except where another person is legally liable.
4 Equipment and property
The owner supplies safe collars, harnesses, leads, carriers, food and any approved medication. Escape caused by defective or incorrectly fitted owner equipment is investigated on the evidence; liability cannot be predetermined contrary to law.
