1 Consent to transact electronically
You consent to receive, review, accept and retain agreements, notices, invoices, booking records and disclosures electronically through the platform, email, SMS or another method you select. You may request a downloadable copy and update contact details. Where law requires a non-electronic method or an advanced electronic signature, StudeeHelpers will use the required method.
2 Electronic signature method
For agreements that do not require an advanced electronic signature, acceptance occurs when you authenticate, open the identified document version, actively tick an unchecked acceptance box and select the clearly labelled acceptance button. A typed name or OTP may provide additional evidence. The method is intended to identify the signatory and show approval, consistently with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
3 Evidence and records
You agree that the platform may retain the document version, cryptographic hash, account ID, role, date and time, IP address, device and browser metadata, authentication event, OTP result where used, acceptance wording and later revocation or supersession history. Such records remain subject to the Privacy Notice and applicable evidence law.
4 Hardware and withdrawal
You need a device, internet access and a current email address or mobile number. You may withdraw consent for future electronic contracting by contacting [LEGAL EMAIL], but withdrawal does not invalidate prior lawful acceptance and may prevent continued platform use where electronic operation is essential. We will explain any non-electronic alternative and lawful cost before withdrawal takes effect.
5 Versioning
Material changes require a new version and fresh affirmative acceptance where appropriate. A link to the accepted version and a downloadable copy must remain in the user account.
